For the first time at Rosecote, two of the most ordered packets are now available for electronic download! That's right, you can now purchase Romancing the Rose, and Summer Roses and Strawberry Tea Cake Server in the shop and download them immediately. The E-Packets contain all of the material included in the original packets plus color swatches of the Liquitex and Lefranc & Bougeios Oil Paints. Look for more E-Packets to be added soon!
Winsor Newton has discontinued Purple Madder Alizarin. You may substitute Rembrandt Burnt Carmine which is available in the Shop.
Due to the demise of Liquitex oils, my favourite colors, Light Magenta and Medium Magenta are no longer available. The following may be substituted in those designs that call for:
Light Magenta -- Carmine Lake+ W + speck Cad Red Light (Lefranc & Bourgeois Oils)
Magenta + Naples Yellow Light + Cadmium Red Light (Winsor Newton Oils)
This color looks like pink bubble gum.
Medium Magenta -- Carmine Lake + Stable Violet + W (Lefrance & Bourgeois Oils)
Magenta + speck Cadmium Red Light (Winsor Newton Oils)
This color should look like raspberry sherbert.
